Skyline Recommendations
- Create a unique atmosphere and activities for each 3-day indoor festival, that are fun for families to enjoy together after the slopes close, enhanced through décor, costuming and entertainment.
- Program entertainers with multiple skills and the flexibility to offer entertaining experiences for all ages.
- Block-book entertainers for greater cost-effectiveness and better programming.
- Create a separate teen area from the family area, responding to teen preferences to be exclusively with their own age group.
Skyline Concept-to-Completion Services
Project design and implementation.
Event theme development and execution - Creation of the “look” for each 3-day event through themed décor, linen recommendations, room set up, staging, costuming and entertainment. Following are a few of the highlights:
Winterlude - Christmas-to-New Years Week, (inspired by Ottawa’s famous festival of the same name). Décor included graphic shapes of silver trees outlined with blue and green rope lights, an installation of giant fabric half pipes embellished with real snow boards, a life-sized backdrop of ski runs fronted by graphic tree shapes and faux snow. Entertainment included a hot deejay in front of the dance floor and walk-around characters to add to the fun.
President’s Day Weekend – We created our theme around the popular historic presidents, Washington and Lincoln. The stage was decorated with red, white and blue bunting, and tables in the kids’ room were set with Lincoln Logs for “build it yourself” centerpieces. Giant replicas of the Lincoln Memorial and Washington Monuments added to the theme along with large colorful geometric shapes in blue, white and purple.
Spring Break - For the Spring Break events, Skyline created a Tropical Beach Party featuring graphic palm trees outlined in lime green rope light, bean bag chairs in hot beach colors backed by a giant-sized tropical sunset backdrop. Entertainers included a ventriloquist with a Carmen Miranda look-alike puppet!
