SKYLINE TALENT & EVENTS PRESENTING NEW VISION CIRQUE &
DANCE COMPANY AT IDEA FACTORY MEETING PLANNING CONFERENCE
-- Skyline represents New Vision Cirque & Dance Company
exclusively in Colorado --
August 7, 2006 (Denver, Colorado): Skyline Talent & Events,
exclusive representatives for New Vision Cirque and Dance
Company in Colorado, will present unique cirque and theatrical
performances to meeting planners at The Idea Factory, presented
by Event Solutions Magazine. The meeting planning conference
takes place at the Denver Convention Center on August 20-23,
2006. Performances will be held on the stage at Pavilion Booth
#9 and in front of the full congress on the main stage for
the “Elevated Events” presentation.
Skyline is participating in The Idea Factory as part of Elevated
Events, a new consortium of six Colorado-based event companies
providing innovative services for conferences, trade shows,
corporate meetings, festivals and other special events. The
purpose of the entertainment is to offer conference attendees
a convenient way to preview talent that Skyline can book for
their events taking place both in Colorado and nationally.
“We are so pleased to present New Vision Cirque’s
brand of distinctive and visually exciting entertainment to
meeting planners seeking a notch up from the ordinary,”
states Skye Griffith, Skylines’ President and founder.
Cirque artists include “Power Skips”, gymnasts
performing on a special high-tech jumping apparatus allowing
them to leap up to 15 feet in the air; the “German Wheel,”
performing gravity defying acrobatic moves in a six-foot gyrating
wheel, and a contortionist.
The New Vision Cirque and Dance Company is composed of over
250 international artists, many of whom are Olympic medalists
and have performed with other acclaimed international cirque
companies. The group currently performs five full company
productions appealing to all ages, including “White
– The Light Beyond,” their newest show. This dazzling
dramatic musical production is the story of the ageless struggle
between good and evil featuring a myriad of acts. Skyline
also books individual performers and smaller acts from the
company to meet various event budgets and time requirements.
Other acts performing at The Idea Factory represented by
Skyline include Robo Mike, “the Human Robot”;
Nora Swanson, a stilt walker and theatrical talent wired with
multiple colored flashing lights; Cathy Gauch, aerial ballet
artist, and circus entertainer, Sven Jorgensen. Music from
various bands and musicians represented by Skyline will be
playing continuously in the booth with preview CDs available.
Talent provided by Skyline will also be featured at the CaterSource
Culinary Event in Denver on August 21 during The Idea Factory.
